A decision ledger for business buyers

Flatbed Trailer Manufacturer Quote Comparison

Compare the same deck, frame, axle and brake configuration; the same quantity and destination; and the same inspection, document, and delivery scope. FlatDeck Link helps expose differences and unanswered questions without endorsing a manufacturer or guaranteeing the commercial result.

Normalize before ranking

Record mandatory specifications separately from acceptable alternatives. Confirm the currency, quote validity, Incoterm, destination, quantity, customization, inspection, packing, document list, estimated timing, and exclusions before treating one total as lower than another.

Keep approvals outside the score

Supplier selection does not establish import, registration, or regulatory approval. Exact-model applicability, contract review, payment protection, inspections, and destination-side acceptance remain buyer decisions supported by qualified parties.

Three cautions that change the ranking

A comparison score is only as reliable as the shared basis and the evidence behind each response.

Configuration-dependent ratings

Payload and GVWR cannot be borrowed from a family maximum. Options, deck construction, frame, axles, suspension, wheels, tires, brakes, and tare weight all affect the order-specific result.

Vehicle price is not landed cost

Separate fabrication, tooling, inspection, documents, inland transport, freight, duty, and destination work. Do not compare an ex-works price with a delivered scope or infer a fixed saving without current like-for-like evidence.

Documents must match the order

A company certificate or generic product brochure does not prove that an exact configuration meets a specific US destination requirement. Record the document identifier and what model, configuration, and period it covers.

Bring incomplete quotes, too

Start with the RFQ, a supplier quote, or a reference drawing

We can structure open fields and exclusions before the responses are ranked. Include quantity, destination, requested timing, and any mandatory rating or document review.
